1. Overview

At Couples Quizzes, we want you to be completely satisfied with your premium subscription. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be provided for our subscription services and the process for requesting them. This policy applies to all paid subscription plans on our quiz platform.

2. Subscription Services

Premium Subscription Features

Our premium subscriptions provide access to enhanced quiz creation tools, unlimited quiz creation, advanced question types, analytics, and priority customer support. These are digital services provided on an ongoing subscription basis.

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are billed automatically on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, and the cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until the end of your paid period.

Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are billed once per year and typically offer significant savings compared to monthly billing. Annual plans provide the same features as monthly plans but with a discounted rate for the convenience of annual payment.

3. Refund Eligibility

5-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

We offer a 5-day satisfaction guarantee from your subscription purchase date. If you are not completely satisfied with our premium service within 5 days of your initial subscription or subscription renewal, you may request a full refund of that payment. This applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions.

First-Time Subscribers

New subscribers have a full 5 days to try our premium features risk-free. If our service doesn't meet your expectations, we'll provide a complete refund with no questions asked.

Technical Issues

If you experience significant technical problems that prevent you from accessing or using our premium features, and our support team cannot resolve these issues within 5 business days, you may be eligible for a prorated refund based on the time the service was unavailable.

Billing Errors and Duplicate Charges

If you have been charged incorrectly due to a billing error on our part, charged multiple times for the same subscription period, or charged after properly cancelling your subscription, we will provide a full refund of the incorrect charges immediately upon verification.

Service Termination by Us

If we terminate your subscription due to our discontinuation of the service (not due to Terms of Service violations), you will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of your subscription period.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • Refund requests made more than 5 days after your subscription purchase or renewal (except for technical issues, billing errors, or service termination by us)
  • Partial refunds for unused portions of subscription periods when you voluntarily cancel (you retain access until the end of your paid period)
  • Refunds requested due to failure to use the premium features or quiz platform
  • Refunds for accounts terminated or suspended due to violation of our Terms of Service, including inappropriate quiz content or abusive behavior
  • Refunds for third-party payment processing fees, taxes, or charges imposed by your financial institution
  • Refunds for promotional subscriptions, gift subscriptions, or heavily discounted plans (unless within the 5-day window for first-time subscribers)
  • Refunds based on dissatisfaction with user-generated content created by other users
  • Refunds due to changes in personal circumstances or relationship status
  • Refunds for expired or lapsed subscriptions where you continued to have access during the paid period

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer support team at couplesquizzes.help@gmail.com with "Refund Request" in the subject line
  2. Include your account email address, subscription type, and purchase date
  3. Provide the transaction ID or receipt from your subscription purchase (if available)
  4. Clearly explain the reason for your refund request (dissatisfaction, technical issues, billing error, etc.)
  5. Include any relevant documentation such as screenshots of technical problems, error messages, or billing discrepancies
  6. Allow up to 3 business days for our team to review your request and respond

6. Refund Processing

Approval Process

Once we receive your refund request, our team will review it against this policy. We will notify you via email whether your refund has been approved or denied, along with an explanation of our decision.

Processing Time

Once a refund is approved, it will be processed within 5-7 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 3-7 business days
  • PayPal: 1-3 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 5-10 business days

Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the subscription purchase. If the original payment method is no longer available (expired card, closed account, etc.), we will work with you to arrange an alternative refund method, which may require additional verification for security purposes.

7. Subscription Cancellation vs. Refund

Important: Canceling your subscription is different from requesting a refund:

Subscription Cancellation:

  • Stops future recurring charges
  • You keep access to premium features until your current billing period ends
  • No money is refunded for the current period
  • Can be done instantly through your account settings

Refund Request:

  • Returns money already paid for current subscription period
  • Must be requested within 5 days of purchase
  • Requires approval based on this policy
  • Premium access may be removed immediately upon refund processing

8. Prorated Refunds

In exceptional circumstances, such as extended service outages, significant platform malfunctions that we cannot resolve, or termination of service by us, we may offer prorated refunds calculated based on the unused portion of your subscription period. These will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are at our discretion.

9. Chargeback and Dispute Resolution

Please contact us first: Before initiating a chargeback with your credit card company or payment provider, please reach out to our customer support team. Most billing issues can be resolved quickly and amicably through direct communication.

Note: Chargebacks may result in immediate suspension of your account and access to our services. If you have a legitimate concern, we're here to help resolve it directly.

10. Free Trial and Promotional Offers

Special terms may apply to free trials and promotional offers:

  • Free trials can be cancelled at any time before the trial period ends to avoid charges
  • If you're charged after a free trial, the 5-day refund policy applies to that first payment
  • Promotional pricing or discount subscriptions are eligible for refunds within the 5-day window
  • Gift subscriptions purchased for others follow the same refund policy from the purchase date

11. Legal Compliance

This refund policy complies with applicable consumer protection laws. Nothing in this policy limits your legal rights as a consumer under applicable state and federal laws. If you are a resident of a jurisdiction with additional consumer protections, those rights remain in effect. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA.

12. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated to existing subscribers via email and will be posted on our website with an updated "Last updated" date. Changes will apply to new subscriptions immediately and to existing subscriptions at their next renewal date. If you do not agree with policy changes, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
